Monitor Control

Get the Monitor Control application offered by Softany Software and you will be provided with an easy and efficient means of launching the screensaver, turning off your monitor, turning off the monitor and locking your PC, restarting or shutting down said PC. You can perform all these tasks with a simple mouse click or by using a hotkey.

The Monitor Control installation file is less than 1MB in size, meaning that getting it off the web and onto your computer will take but a moment, even if you have to contend with a lousy internet connection. Getting the application up and running will not take long either. Just run the aforementioned file, follow the instructions presented by a setup wizard, and moments later you will be done.

While Monitor Control is running, you will see an icon in the system tray. Click that icon (left or right click, it doesn’t matter which one) and you will be presented with a menu that features all the functions the application can perform. If you want to, you can choose to view a Monitor Control floating bar that also provides easy access to all the functions the application can perform.

Speaking about the functions Monitor Control can perform, here is what you can do with this application: turn off the monitor, turn off the monitor and lock the PC, start the default screensaver, start one of all the available screensavers, log off/restart/shutdown the PC, disable the screensaver, access the power schemes, and view all the user accounts. You can access the functionality Monitor Control has to offer with a simple mouse click or by using a hotkey. You can launch the default screensaver, for example, by using the Ctrl+Alt+S hotkey.

You have 7 days at your disposal to use Monitor Control for free. To keep using this application once the trial period expires, you will have to get a license.
